Hey, just thought I'd post a little about Flag Day that I did yesterday before I move back to Kallang.
Well, what can I say? I attract people a lot. Seriously, do I really have the look of a nice girl? I don't think so. I mean for people who know me well should know by now that I may be nice but I do have a devilish side too.
I think if there were a competition of whose donation bag was the heaviest or who scored the most donators, I'll be the winner. I think my bag weighed twice my shoes and I finished almost 2 pages of my stickers. Everyone was jealous, very jealous.
But still, there were ups and down to this. The ups were that I kept getting donations, especially from very small children like 5 year olds and compliments from the other Fuchun stars who passed by me and told me that I rocked this Flag Day thing.
The downs were some stupid Singaporeans that I experienced. Seriously annoooooying. Make that double annoying.
Here's the first one;
A man was rushing pass me then suddenly went back to my direction.
He gave me this annoyed look then said, "Why do you have to let me walk to you to donate?"
I was really shocked. I mean... what the fuck? So I told him, "If you're willing enough to donate sincerely, you wouldn't mind dragging your feet only a metre away from where you were."
He grunted and went off. Whatever. He had lame sunglasses on.
The second one;
This motorist just bought newspaper. And he stopped a few steps away from me, fiddling with his coins. I just smiled at him and then looked away, didn't know he was gonna donate or not.
He suddenly asked me, "Can I donate?"
Then I'm like, "Yes."
Out of the blue he started retorting at me, "Why must I ask you in the first place? You should've asked me!"
I was totally taken aback. "Don't mean to be rude but, if you wanted to donate, you can just approach me yourself."
He groaned and went like, "Haiyooo. These students! Thanks anyway ah."
I simply said, "Uhuh. Whatever."
And didn't bother giving him a sticker.
Godddd. Sheera was laughing her ass off the whole time.
Okay so, that's all for now.
And did I mention my birthday is in about 2 days?
